Our Receivers Now Support Galileo OSNMA Authentication

Starting October 1st, our receivers officially support Galileo OSNMA (Open Service Navigation Message Authentication) — the new authentication feature of the European GNSS.

OSNMA adds an extra layer of security by verifying the authenticity of Galileo navigation messages, protecting users against spoofing and other signal manipulation attempts. With this update, our receivers can now validate Galileo signals in real time, ensuring higher trust and reliability in positioning data.

This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to providing the most secure and future-ready GNSS solutions. We are committed to being among the first to adopt new technologies and to bringing the latest innovations to our products as soon as they become available.

Promarine 20th Anniversary Seminar!

Last Friday we had the pleasure of celebrating Promarine Oy’s 20th anniversary with a seminar and evening gathering at Villa Marjaniemi, Ruissalo Finland.


A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to mark this special milestone! The day was filled with engaging discussions on timely and highly relevant themes – from managing the electromagnetic environment (EME) to mitigating GNSS interference, insight to electronic warfare (EW), ELINT and counter-drone operations. The presentations and conversations highlighted both technological expertise and real-world experiences from the field.


We would especially like to thank our partners Knut Hveding from the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue and Yaroslav Kalinin from Infozahyst LLC, Ukraine, for traveling to join us and for sharing their invaluable expertise and perspectives. Your contributions added tremendous value to the day.

Introducing our newest team member, Mr. Ismo Laitakari!

MSc. Ismo Laitakari has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Promarine Ltd as of 23 October 2024. Before joining Promarine, Laitakari has worked in development and management positions in governmental organizations and in the ITC sector, and as managing director in the manufacturing industry.

Ismo is responsible for Promarine's operational activities, development of sales, partnerships and processes including safety and sustainability.

"Promarine is a well-known and respected company in its field. It is really interesting to accept the challenge and join Promarine's top team. It has been a pleasure to notice how good the spirit and know-how are in the company. Product update proGPS1120 - ENHANCED CABLE AND GROUNDING FEATURES

proGPS1120 has undergone an update to improve its performance and reliability. The cable has been upgraded from unshielded to shielded LSZH, aligning with the rest of our product family and providing improved resistance to electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Additionally, we´ve added a grounding terminal for reliable product grounding. This terminal is internally connected to the OUTPUT ports’ ESD ground while maintaining the coaxial shield isolation, and is also linked to the chassis and power cable shield. The grounding terminal comes with an M4 thread for secure installation.

These enhancements improve product performance, reliability and safety.
