In radio communications there are many items (amplifiers, attenuators, signal splitters and combiners, lossy cables etc) that either increase or decrease the signal level. It is very crucial to choose the right cable type in as exact length as possible for the specific frequency. We provide low loss coaxial cables and most common connectors directly from stock. Other types of cable can also be ordered through us. By request we can provide these cables custom made assembled with connectors.

AIRCELL5

Aircell 5 is a five millimeter thin, flexible coaxial cable for the frequency range up to 10 GHz. The very low attenuation in relation to the diameter and the alternative usability of standard RG-58 coaxial connectors make this cable the first choice not only for wireless LAN but for many applications in telecommunications.

The relatively low attenuation of Aircell 5 is achieved by a low-loss PE-LLC dielectric with a gas content of over 70%. The material is also resistant to moisture. The solid core conductor of Aircell 5 is drawn from low-oxygen copper (OFC). In order to achieve good shielding and low losses, the Aircell 5 outer conductor is made of two layers of copper: on a thin, overlapping copper foil, a shielding layer with a degree of coverage of 70% is applied. The film is PE-coated on the inside and thus protected against cracking if the bending radius is too small. The black PVC outer jacket of Aircell 5 is UV-stabilized.

Due to its outer diameter of 5 mm, Aircell 5 can be used with almost all commercially available coaxial connectors for 5 mm coaxial cables. Aircell 5 is a modern coax cable for many applications in telecommunications: it is relatively flexible, low-attenuation and anti-radiation. DATASHEET

AIRCELL 5 HEATEX

Aircell 5 Heatex is a five millimeters thin, flexible coaxial cable for the frequency range up to 10 GHz. The very low attenuation in relation to the diameter and the alternative usability of standard RG-58 coaxial connectors make this cable the first choice not only for wireless LAN but for many applications in telecommunications.

The relatively low attenuation of Aircell 5 Heatex is achieved by a low-loss PE-LLC dielectric with a gas content of over 70%. The material is also resistant to moisture. The solid core conductor of Aircell 5 Heatex is drawn from low-oxygen copper (OFC). In order to achieve good shielding and low losses, the external conductor of Aircell 5 Heatex is made of two layers of copper: on a thin, overlapping copper foil, a shielding braid with a coverage of 70% is applied. The film is PE-coated on the inside and thus protected against cracking if the bending radius is too small. The jacket of the cable is made of a halogen-free and flame retardant copolymer. Due to this Heatex jacket, the cable has a low fire load, low flame propagation, limited smoke emission and reduced production of toxic and corrosive gases. With the fire protection rating Cca Aircell 5 Heatex is approved for installation in public buildings. Aircell 5 Heatex is certified for railway applications for interior and exterior use according to requirement sets R15 and R16 of the EN45545-2 standard.

Due to its outer diameter of 5 mm, the Aircell 5 Heatex can be used with almost all commercially available coaxial connectors for 5 mm coaxial cables. Aircell 5 Heatex is a modern coaxial cable for many applications in telecommunications: it is relatively flexible, low-attenuation and anti-radiation. DATASHEET

AIRCELL7

Aircell 7 is a highly flexible coaxial cable for the frequency range up to 6 GHz. The very low damping in relation to the diameter and the small bending radius make the application interesting and recommendable for many applications in high-frequency technology.

The low attenuation of Aircell 7 is achieved by a low-loss PE-LLC dielectric with a gas content of over 70%. The material is also resistant to moisture. The inner conductor, a 19-conductor strand of low-oxygen copper, allows the extraordinary flexibility of the cable. To achieve good attenuation, the Aircell 7 outer conductor is double-layered: on a thin, overlapping copper foil, a copper shielding braid with a degree of coverage of 85% is applied. The film is PE-coated on the inside and thus protected against cracking if the bending radius is too small. The black PVC outer jacket of Aircell 7 is UV-stabilized. Aircell 7 is a modern and widely used coaxial cable for numerous applications: it is extremely flexible, low-attenuation and anti-radiation. DATASHEET

ECOFLEX10 PLUS

Ecoflex 10 Plus is a highly flexible, low-loss coaxial cable designed specifically for use up to 8 GHz. State-of-the-art production processes and the use of a low-loss PE-LLC dielectric with a gas content of more than 70% enable very low attenuation values. The Ecoflex 10 Plus sets new standards for flexible coaxial cables.

The high flexibility of Ecoflex 10 Plus is ensured by a 7-wire hybrid inner conductor with aluminum core and welded copper sheath. The inner conductor is stranded in precise production steps, compressed, calibrated and then pre-coated to achieve very good damping and adaptation values. Another advantage is the double shielding. An overlapping copper foil and an overlying copper braid ensure a high screen size of> 90 dB at 1 GHz. The copper foil has a PE coating which prevents cracks forming in the copper foil due to small bending radii. The black PVC outer sheath of the Ecoflex 10 Plus is UV-stabilized.

In addition to a full range of standard connectors, a user-friendly solderless N connector has been developed specifically for the Ecoflex 10 Plus. The connector can be installed in minutes without special tools. Ecoflex 10 Plus is the innovative coaxial cable for all applications in high frequency technology: low attenuation, ultra-flexible, anti-radiation safe and can be used up to the microwave range. ECOFLEX15 PLUS

Ecoflex 15 Plus has remarkable electrical and mechanical improvements. The construction and the use of materials are optimized for lowest attenuation, a max. Frequency, first-class installation properties, high long-term stability and not least low weight. This combination of optimal physical properties is achieved through the use of a precision hybrid inner conductor with a micro-welded copper cladding and aluminum core.

Ecoflex 15 Plus is a highly flexible and very low attenuation 50 ohm coaxial cable for use up to 8 GHz. State-of-the-art production processes and the use of a low-loss PE-LLC dielectric with a gas content of more than 70% enable very favorable attenuation values. The innovative cable construction of Ecoflex 15 Plus combines the extremely low attenuation characteristics of 1/2 "cables with rigid inner conductors with the mechanical properties of flexible but high-loss standard coaxial cables with inner conductors, thus providing an ideal combination. The good flexibility of Ecoflex 15 Plus is ensured by a 7-wire hybrid inner conductor with aluminum core and welded copper sheath. The inner conductor is stranded in high-precision production steps, compressed, calibrated and then pre-coated to achieve very good damping and adaptation values.

Another advantage is the double shielding: an overlapping copper foil and an overlying copper braid ensure a high screen size of> 90 dB at 1 GHz. The black PVC outer sheath of Ecoflex 15 Plus is UV-stabilized. To simplify the installation, solderless plugs of the N, UHF and 7-16 DIN standards were developed, which offer optimum contacting and can be easily assembled without special tools in a short time. Ecoflex 15 Plus is a modern coaxial cable for many applications in high-frequency technology: low attenuation, long-term stable, flexible, susceptible to radiation and can be used up to the microwave range.
