The MiniPlex-3PRO has the same functionality as the MiniPlex-3E-N2K, but it packs more inputs (8) and outputs (4) into one box.

The MiniPlex-3PRO is an advanced multiplexer which combines NMEA 0183 data from multiple sources into one stream. Its gateway function provides conversion between NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 in both directions.

It also has four NMEA 0183 outputs and an Ethernet port, and received NMEA 0183 sentences can be individually be routed to each of these outputs.

The Ethernet port is bi-directional, so it can transmit NMEA 0183 data onto an Ethernet network and at the same time, it can receive NMEA 0183 data to be routed to one or both NMEA 0183 outputs. Thus, NMEA 0183 data can be distributed to multiple devices connected to the network.

Communication speeds up to 115200 baud are supported.

Input 1 can be set to SeaTalk mode, so it can transmit and receive SeaTalk data. Received SeaTalk data is converted to NMEA 0183 while NMEA 0183 data from any input or Ethernet port can be selectively routed and converted to the SeaTalk port.

All NMEA 0183 inputs, outputs and Ethernet port are galvanically isolated, thus preventing any chance of ground loops.

A comprehensive set of features include routing/filtering of NMEA 0183 sentences, numerous conversions, prioritisation of data etc. make the MiniPlex-3E the ultimate solution for any interfacing requirement.

NMEA 2000 Gateway

The MiniPlex-3PRO also serves as a multiple gateway between NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000. Each NMEA 0183 input is visible on the NMEA 2000 network as an individual Data Source, one for each physical input, conversions and Ethernet port: 10 in total.

Using the Routing Table, data from every possible NMEA 2000 source can be routed to the Ethernet port and/or both NMEA 0183 outputs.

The MiniPlex-2S is an advanced NMEA multiplexer, combining data from up to four navigation instruments into two NMEA outputs and an RS–232 port. It also supports AIS and other high speed NMEA devices up to 57600 Baud.

Using the MiniPlex–2S multiplexer has some major advantages:

* Data from multiple instruments is available as one single stream on one single cable. This reduces wiring cost.

* Seamless integration into an existing Raymarine Seatalk® network.

* All inputs are galvanically isolated, eliminating ground loops between instruments.

* Full galvanic isolation on the RS-232 port, eliminating ground loops between multiplexer and computer which are often on separate power grids.

* The MiniPlex allows you to fully control the source, the destination and the rate of each individual NMEA sentence by its powerful sentence filtering and routing facility.

* Automatic switching between computer navigation and GPS based navigation.

* Automatic switching between primary and secondary instruments in case of failure or invalid data.

Two NMEA outputs (talker ports) allow distribution of the NMEA data to up to eight instruments.

The MiniPlex-2S can be connected to a computer through the galvanically isolated RS-232 interface for computerized navigation. Stand-alone operation is also possible, in which case the RS-232 interface is only used to configure the multiplexer.
